I need a document translated. How can I order it?

Send us the document in electronic form to our e-mail address and we will prepare a non-binding offer or pro-forma invoice. You can also submit an order via our online form (online ordering). If you only want a quote and the document is confidential in nature, please let us know the size, subject and desired delivery time of the document. Scan original paper-based documents and send them to us by e-mail or regular mail or contact us directly.
Translation Procedure
Acceptance of material: deliver your material to us via e-mail or online form, adding additional comments and wishes.
Analysis of material: we then review the received text and assess the scope and difficulty of translation. We prepare an offer along with cost estimates and delivery deadlines.
Order confirmation: following written confirmation, we begin working on your order.
Translation: we relay the translation to the most suitable translator.
Proofreading: we proofread the text according to what has been agreed upon/ordered.
Final review: we perform an additional final review prior to handing the text over to the client.
Delivery of material: the translated material is delivered to you via e-mail (or via electronic media/printed media).
Additional clarification: in the event that you have additional questions regarding the translation, we offer support and clarification.

What is a copyright or translation page?

A translation page consists of 1500 characters without spaces, or 250 words.
Upon receipt of your document(s), we will perform a quantitative analysis using translation tools, based on which we will prepare the offer.
The number of characters in a Word file can be ascertained by using the Word Count feature - Characters (no spaces) divided by 1500 will give you the number of translation pages.

How much time do you need for the translation?

The indicative daily translation norm is 6 standard pages. If the translation is urgent, we can increase our capacity and, if necessary, work at night, on weekends and during holidays. We always endeavour to deliver highly urgent translations as quickly as possible, while ensuring professional performance. We are aware that speed is of the utmost importance and we are able to provide rapid turnaround, but never promise things that we can not fulfil. After an evaluation of the volume and complexity of the text, we will provide you with a realistic workable deadline that will be strictly followed.

Which languages do you translate?

Most frequently, we translate from main European languages into the Slovenian language, and vice versa.
We have an extensive international network of over 170 qualified translators for different languages, so if necessary, we can also provide translations in other language combinations: e.g. from English to French, French to Russian, German to Hungarian, Spanish to Serbian, Polish to Italian, etc.

The translation will be performed by a qualified translator. Why is proofreading necessary?

Although the quality of translation is already at a high level, we also suggest proofreading of all professional and technical texts intended for publication or Internet distribution or where the importance of the translated material is high. If the translated text will be going to print, proofreading prior to final publication is mandatory.
Because we are committed to precision and perfection, we attribute equal importance to proofreading. Proofreading not only involves a search for missing punctuation, but also a comprehensive language review, spelling and grammatical arrangement of the text, approximation of the pragmatic use of language and style of the text and assurance of terminological coherence. Translation with proofreading is a package service that most of our clients opt for, requiring a professional and stylistic review of the finalized product. At your request, we will happily arrange a translation of your text without proofreading. This service is generally requested for texts intended only for personal use or contextual comprehension.

Which text formats do you accept for translation?

Files can be of any format (Word, Excel, Power Point, PDF, JPEG, RTF, TTX, HTML, etc.). If the source files cannot be converted, we will perform a translation with a similar format in Word. If necessary, we also offer graphic design and print production.

What is the price of a translation?

The price is based on the current price list and received materials, i.e. the volume and language combination. If the price is the decisive factor in choosing a translation service, we can say that we are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive on the market, but we are competitive and adapt to market trends. We work exclusively with qualified and professional translators and guarantee an optimal balance between price and quality. We do not offer dumping prices like low-cost providers, but you can be sure that you will receive a good translation at a reasonable price, which will certainly pay off in the long term.

How is payment implemented?

Natural persons (individuals) must pay for services in advance based on a pro-forma invoice received by e-mail. Payment can be settled via electronic banking or through a payment order prior to the start of implementation of the contract. Upon receipt of payment or a proof of payment, the text will be dispatched for translation or proofreading.
Legal persons will be billed for the service.
If you choose to pay by pro-forma invoice, thus also taking advantage of the additional advance payment discount, we will send you a pro-forma invoice by e-mail and commence implementation of the order immediately after receiving payment.

I need a number of translations over a long period of time. Do you offer any special benefits?
